The guys are surprisingly charmed by Eddie Murphy, the 80’s, and the idea of vibranium deposits in Zamunda.  Let’s be clear though, James Earl Jones is a war criminal in this movie right?  I mean you can’t dress like Muammar Gaddafi, be in charge of a small African nation, and not commit genocide, right?  This is all unclear.

Is Angelina Jolie talented or just a money fly honey?  Is this question innately sexist?  Is this podcast part of the patriarchy?   Has she ever been in a good movie?  Doe  Late to the Table start off with the good intention to answer these questions and then devolve into terrible what if scenarios and jokes about dicks?  Probably.

Jun 20, 2016

Late To The Table mints another classic episode that’s half as good as last night’s Game of Thrones but twice as good as a kick to the nuts.  Does the Spielberg classic hold up in 2016 or is it just a bunch of shakey farm houses/objects?

Jun 13, 2016

Two idiots with a microphone think they know better than 40 years of popular opinion.  That car chase though!

Jun 6, 2016

Does 16 Candles hold up?   The guys have never seen it.  Apparently being rich and white in the 80s was a real struggle…to sexually assault people.  Who can ever forget such racially sensitive characters like “The Donger”?  Ok, that makes it sound bad.  BUT IS IT?!  Find out now in this episode recorded before the last episode!  Non traditional story structure baby!

May 30, 2016

In an effort to record two episodes in a week the guys chose a short, sci-fi, cult classic.  Turns out it’s the most complicated movie of all fucking time.  Whoops!  Made for $7000 dollars in 2004 does Primer break the mold for modern sci fi movies or is it just a headache that makes you bleed out of you ears?  Find out NOW.  OR LATER.  IT’S TIME TRAVEL.  GET WITH IT BABY!

May 23, 2016

AIDS is no laughing matter.  I repeat: AIDS is no laughing matter.  This is a comedy podcast about a movie…about AIDS.  Stick with us.  It’s ok.  We’ll all get through this together.  The guys dive into Philadelphia and learn about love, acceptance, and early 90s R&B.

May 16, 2016

Two weary heroes review a classic movie against incredible odds.  The odds being mostly their own ineptitude.  Is Butch Cassidy a gem of a western or just a cow pie?

May 9, 2016

Rich recovers from surgery and Mike whines about a sore throat while they tiptoe through a minefield of racism.

May 2, 2016

Episode 75!  We did it!  Is Gone With The Wind a timeless classic or an antiquated, racist-assed movie?  OR BOTH?  Find out!  IN PAAAAARRTTT 1!

Apr 25, 2016

90’s-Teen-Sex-Comedy-Tricycle ends!  We’re jumping off!  Get ready for episode 75.  Does American Pie hold up?  Do 90’s teen sex comedies hold up in general?  Did we learn any lessons from our in depth expose?  Is Mike upset Rich edited out an instance where he held a moment of silence for Mena Suvari thinking she was Brittney Murphy?  No, yes, maybe, yes.  In that order. There.  I saved  you an hour.  Still listen to the episode though, we love you!

Apr 18, 2016

Hop on the late 90’s Teen-Sex-Comedy Tricycle!  Does the legitimately beloved teen rom com hold up to modern sensibilities?  Mini game:  Try to pin point the exact moment Rich loses his mind resulting in one of the most heavily edited Late To The Table episodes ever.

Apr 11, 2016

The guys delve into a hard hitting expose on late 90s early 2000s teen sex comedies that no one asked for.

Apr 4, 2016

Two idiots review a beloved movie and devolve into a conversation on testicles, robots, sharks, and robot sharks.  Does the 1983 classic Scarface hold up?  FIND OUT NOW!

Mar 28, 2016

Dev comes back after a many month hiatus and the guys lose the audio file.  Again.  Mike then filibusters an 8 minute episode and talks about movies he saw on the way to China.  We’ll try to do two episodes this week to make up for it!  MUCH LOVE, sorry!

Mar 21, 2016

I can’t believe we didn’t make a 69 joke.  Jesus Christ.  What a missed opportunity.  The guys have a palette cleanser by watching a movie that is both good and not a sequel.  On netflix now!  Chiggity check it out.

Mar 14, 2016

The bad boys of Late to the Table bring sequel’s month to a close with Bad Boys II.  Could it be worse than Bad Boys?  Was it filmed at the same time and the same location as 2 Fast 2 Furious?  Seriously what was in the water in Florida then?  Red bull?  Mountain Dew?

Mar 7, 2016

Two idiots that had never seen Die Hard up until recently review its sequel, the less sexy little brother known as Die Hard 2.  Does Carl Winslow eat twinkies?  What exactly is the extent of John McClane’s jurisdiction?  FIND OUT….whenever you choose to listen to the show.

Feb 29, 2016

Hey do you know the best time do a year in review?  March.  It’s March.  We figured it out.  Scientifically.  We had enough time to reflect.  It also interrupts sequels month.  Again, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.  What can I say?  WE’RE GODDAMN PROS.   What were Mike and Rich’s top and bottom 5 Late to the Table movies this year?  Does Rich claim Labyrinth is better than Citizen Kane?  Does he try to back track immediately?  I mean, yes to both.

Feb 22, 2016

Come!  Come and see!  See the amazing Rocky Balboa flare up and fizzle out like a high draft pick for the Cleveland Browns!  Marvel at his tiger jackets and lack of financial awareness!  YOU. ARE. INVITED.  Sequels month baby!  Let’s keep doing this!

Feb 15, 2016

The guys enter sequel’s month/sequel’s period of time/sequel’s non consecutive week period and review their first sequel!  What about all those Mad Max reviews?  Shut up!  They don’t count!  Aliens!  Get into it!  There’s the yellow mech loader.  That cool, right?  I mean this is a war movie, Alien was a horror movie.  We’ve got one person to blame for this.  Enemy of the show James Cameron.  Check. It. Out.

Feb 8, 2016

Kubricking it up!  We’ve never seen The Shining, but by now we’ve done a ton of Kubrick movies on the podcast.  Does this horror classic hold up?  Is Mike too pissed off to write this intro because the Panthers lost last night?  If Peyton Manning goes missing is Mike a suspect?  You didn’t hear nothing.  Snitches get stitches.  I swear.  You keep your mouth shut.  All losing and no winning makes Mike a dull boy.

Feb 1, 2016

The guys watch another Sci Fi movie from the 90s with questionable CGI.  Galaxy Quest is a fine movie.  It’s fine.  Really.  It’s an ok movie.  People really seem to love it.  Maybe I should have watched more Star Trek.  Alan Rickman is great, Sigourney Weaver is great,  Tim Allen is Time Allen.  Is Time Allen Talented?  Maybe!?  Find out now!

Jan 25, 2016

I’ve never seen ET.  Listen along as two idiots voice their opinions while trying not to ruin your childhood.

Jan 18, 2016

The guys get back on track with an episode FOR THE AGES.  Tron is super important, influential, and culturally significant.  BUT DOES IT HOLD UP?  DOES IT?! Find out now!  It’s what the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior would have wanted.
